In a vibrant celebration of student-driven innovation and entrepreneurship, Maseno University, through the School of Business and Economics, sponsored the Impactful Entrepreneurship Grant Award Ceremony, a milestone ceremony that underscored the institution's commitment to championing entrepreneurship as a driver of economic and social transformation

This project, funded by Fayetteville Technical Community College and New Millennium Ministries, is a significant collaboration that aims to support eradicating poverty worldwide through local enterprise development.

The exercise was funded by the Maseno University School of Business and Economics. Six student entrepreneurs were selected as grant recipients, each receiving $124 to fund their innovative ventures.

The primary aim of the grant is to enable students to combat poverty in Kenya by building sustainable businesses. It underscores the importance of entrepreneurship as a method of economic development and social change.

The projects that have been funded include different projects such as: Vegetable farm establishment, Training and mentorship of young entrepreneurs in rural villages, Aquaculture farming, Poultry farming, Potato farming and Maize farming.

Dr. Oloo Caroline, who is one of the key individuals in the program, advised and mentored the students, hence their successful projects. The project indicates that Maseno University is concerned with the entrepreneurial development of its students and the creation of opportunities for them.
