Admission requirements
To be admitted into the Diploma in Actuarial Science:
•    Candidates must meet the minimum entry requirements.  
•    Candidates for the Diploma course in Actuarial Science must have passed Mathematics C- and English C- and attained a minimum grade of C at K.C.S.E., or an Equivalent qualification.

Admission Requirements

•    Holders of a Bachelor’s degree of Maseno University in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences or related degree of at least Upper Second-Class Honours, or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Senate.
•    Holders of a Bachelor’s degree of Lower Second Class Honours, of Maseno University, or an equivalent qualification from another institution recognized by Senate.  In addition, a candidate must have at least two years relevant work experience.
•    Holders of a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Statistics or related degree of Maseno University, of a minimum credit grade or an equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by Senate.

 

  • Program  Admission Requirements
    •    A holder of a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics,Pure Mathematics or Applied Mathematics  of Maseno University or any other recognized University; or
    •    Other qualifications considered by Senate as equivalent to a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics and Mathematics
