Maseno University Boosts Productivity with a Five-Day Training

Maseno University recently concluded a successful five-day productivity improvement training held in the university boardroom. Fifty-five participants representing various sections of the university engaged in intensive sessions focused on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the institution. The training addressed the increasingly critical need for improved productivity within public institutions and was conducted by the National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre (NPCC).
The NPCC’s main objective is to promote productivity measurement and improvement methodologies within institutions. The training centered on maximizing the utilization of resources – including labor, capital, technology, and systems – to transform inputs into quality outputs. Participants explored best practices for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes.
